Judy Jenkins, LCSW
Judy Jenkins, LCSW, is a licensed clinician who has been practicing psychotherapy for over 20 years. Her practice
is built on the belief that all individuals possess inherent strengths. She is committed to supporting individuals as they access those strengths while working through difficult issues and challenging times. She believes that people create their identity from the inside out and that it is her responsibility as a therapist to mentor, guide and explore the internal themes that may be helpful in discovering a person’s true sense of self. This discovery allows individuals to achieve their true potential and promote healing, while restoring balance to their lives.
Her practice philosophy is that by working collaboratively with each client and/or client family, and by paying close attention to the presenting problem, a resolution to the presenting problem can be achieved. And she accomplishes this by fostering a safe and trusting environment in which the work of therapy can be accomplished.
Areas of clinical interests for Ms. Jenkins include anxiety disorders, depression, parenting issues, unresolved grief and loss, age-related adjustment disorders and challenging mid-life transitions. She works with a diverse population including adolescents and their families, young adults and middle-aged women and tailors treatment to each individual and/or family.
Ms. Jenkins takes the following insurances; Aetna, Anthem, CompPsych (EAP), LifeSynch (Humana), Health EOS (AHC, HCN, WPPN), Humana, UHC (if plan uses UBH for mental health), WEA, WPS Statewide and fee for service.
