Providing a safe environment for our patients has always been of prime importance to all of us at Mequon Clinical Associates. As the COVID-19 crisis continues to escalate, and messages from the CDC continue to evolve, we continue precautions to help ensure your safety as well of the safety of our other patients and staff.
As of 5/13/20 the Wisconsin Supreme Court declared that Wisconsin’s “Stay At Home Order” is invalid and unenforceable leaving Wisconsin’s small businesses to determine when and how to reopen. Mequon Clinical Associates has always been, and continues to be, fully committed to the health and safety of our patients and staff. In light of the Supreme Court’s decision, we will be continuing our current stay-at-home telemedicine protocols for the next few weeks. During this time, we will be working on a measured, well thought out, phased reopening plan to assure that when we do reopen our doors to our patients and staff, we are doing it in a safe manner. Please be assured that we will continue to follow CDC guidelines for social distancing as well as cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces including tables, doorknobs, countertops, toilets, faucets, sinks, etc.
We will post updates to our website and Facebook page to keep you up to date as our plans to reopen come together and plans are made to move forward. As always, our front desk staff is available Monday-Thursday from 9:00-5:00 and Friday from 9:00-3:00 to answer any questions you may have. We are looking forward to seeing all of you soon. As of 3/23/2020 we have limited face to face appointments in the office and are now seeing our patients primarily via phone or telemedicine visits on www.clocktree.com. To attend a telemedicine session with one of our providers, you may login to www.clocktree.com and create a client account or contact our front desk at 262-241-8100 and request they send you an invitation via email to create a profile. All you need to connect is a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or PC. We would recommend signing up now for upcoming therapy session, med checks, etc. as appointments are filling quickly. Our front desk staff is still available to facilitate medication refills, make appointments, and answer any questions you may have Monday-Thursday 9:00-5:00 and Friday 9:00-3:00.
We are closely following the Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) guidelines and recommendations on the steps we can take to help prevent the spread of the virus. We have shared specific instructions with our staff on the importance of washing their hands and staying home if they feel sick or are returning from an area of the world identified a posing a coronavirus-related risk. In addition, we are continuing to sanitize surfaces in common areas including bathrooms, waiting areas, elevators, and counter tops.
We understand that this may cause some inconvenience for some of you and we appreciate your help and cooperation during this time. Please know that you will not be charged a fee for cancelling or rescheduling your appointment due to illness during this current COVID-19 concern. On a positive note – you are still able to see your provider; it is now just from the comfort of home. Mequon Clinical is here to help during these uncertain times.
