Counseling – MCA clinicians offer talk therapy with a variety of specialties to help you work on areas of life related to your concerns. Patients work with therapists to understand their thoughts, feelings, emotions, and how they relate to the world around them. Our therapists utilize an array of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychoanalytic, and psychodynamic approaches. Couples, family, and individual therapy are available at MCA.
EMDR – Eye movement desensitization & reprocessing is a form of psychotherapy that is useful in helping those with panic disorders, eating disorders, addiction, and anxiety. It is most commonly used in the treatment of PTSD to help patients access, process, and adapt to traumatic memories.
Medication Management – Our psychiatrists & nurse practitioners specialize in diagnostic evaluations and medication to address a patient’s symptoms. MCA believes in a collaborative approach among clinicians, meaning your MD or APNP will work closely with your therapist to best address your concerns.
AODA Assessments – Our Certified Substance Abuse Counselor provides assessments for addictions, such as drugs and alcohol and provides talk therapy to address addiction and help patients overcome them.
Treatment Resistant Depression – Treatment Resistant Depression occurs when one’s depression is not improved with the use of multiple medications, either due to adverse reactions or failure to be effective. MCA is proud to offer two approaches to treatment resistant depression; TMS & Spravato. Check out the Treatment Resistant Depression tab to learn more about these services.
